Black Cherry mix – exclusive to Black Swan Shoppe

I bought an ounce (25g)of this mixture by mail order -The Exclusiv Black Cherry is a ready rubbed blend containing mellow flavoured, Aromatic Dark Cavendish tobacco, which is double fermented to bring out the full flavours then has been top dressed with a Black Cherry flavouring.This tobacco requires no rubbing for the added convenience and enjoyment of the smoker.

I’m a lover of the full flavoured Cavendish tobaccos in any case and although this one contains a fair amount of casings to bring the aroma alive there’s none of the sickly taste often associated with aromatic blends.
Definately a winner with me.

The Pipe Smoking Man

I enjoy my pipes – find there is very little to equal the pleasure of sitting back after a hard day and puffing on a favourite tobacco blend, sucking on a well made briar. There are many thousands of others out there like me – so why should we be demonised by the anti-tobacco hysteria that is sweeping the world? Sod them all, I say.

This blog is intended to be a great resource for pipe smokers both old and new. I will look at the different styles of pipe, review tobacco blends and often go off topic to talk about other subjects – probably my passion for westerns, both movies and books. But the main emphasis will always be on the hobby (note hobby not habit) of pipe smoking.
